A TRIP TO JB WITH FRIENDS

I did not do any work this week (sorry Andreas). I knew the upcoming weeks would be hectic, so I decided to take some time off to refresh myself. Going to JB was a fun—it was my first time outside Singapore with friends, and we had a lot of fun, even though it was just for two days. However, even when I consciously tried to take a break, I found myself subconsciously thinking about work. For instance, while we were out, I couldn't help but notice any kinetic movement or interesting abstracts created by shadows and reflections. For example, there was this diner Medha and I went to that had a disco ball on the ceiling. Seeing it made me think of my shadow and light experiments, and I saw it as potential inspiration.

The rest of the week was spent job hunting and updating my resume and portfolio. With weeks passing by so quickly, I often don't have time to update my documents or apply for jobs, so I took this week to catch up on those tasks as well.
